Does the product contain formaldehyde?

The common wood-plastic composite materials on the market mainly include three categories: PE (polyethylene), PS (polystyrene), and PVC (polyvinyl chloride), which differ significantly in environmental performance and formaldehyde emission levels.
Traditional PE wood-plastic materials are formed by hot-pressing plastic particles with wood flour at high temperatures. The adhesives used in the production process continuously release harmful substances such as formaldehyde.
PS wood-plastic materials are made through a plastic foaming process. Due to the inherent properties of the raw materials and the influence of processing additives, the finished products often contain high concentrations of residual formaldehyde.

In contrast, our developed PVC-modified wood-plastic material demonstrates outstanding environmental performance among the three materials through innovative formulations and process optimization. Verified by national authoritative testing institutions, its formaldehyde emission is only 2.0mg/kg, far lower than that of PE and PS materials. While ensuring mechanical properties, it meets the green environmental requirements for outdoor decoration materials.
